We received official notice this morning that the TEV Project is one of the top-ranked projects in the “World You Like Challenge” of the European Commission, Directorate-General for Climate Action!

The World You Like Challenge invited creative minds from across the EU to put their low-carbon innovations to the test. The public could vote for their favourites among the 269 submissions that were uploaded on the campaign website and then the ten projects with most votes went to a jury.

European Commissioner for Climate Action Connie Hedegaard said: “It has been truly encouraging to see so many innovative projects that were submitted in the World You Like Challenge from the Untied Kingdom and across the EU. These projects show that all Europeans can contribute to building a world you like by taking simple steps that also save us money and improve our quality of life.”

The Challenge is part of the European Commission’s pan-European public awareness campaign A world you like. With a climate you like, which aims at promoting practical, innovative and cost-efficient solutions to climate change.
